This year, we started a new journey in Ashakiran World. In last few years whenever we interacted with different segments of our society, we always felt that there are not enough facilities to learn a skill without spending too much money. There are many centres available however their main goal is to get benefit commercially.   We are thankful to the teachers/guides who came forward and agreed to teach the students. Our model school will facilitate to learn skills like – Sewing, Musical instruments, Singing Dance and many more.  

In modern society, regardless of women and men, the basic rights of all should be equal and universal. To achieve this, we need to come forward and work together to help women to achieve their goal. Women are the symbol of creation. Women are an essential partner in the current world that is participating in the social, economic, political, cultural turns. We always believe in women empowerment and would like to create an environment where they can come forward and learn some skills which will help them to earn and help their respective families. We have explicitly opened a sewing centre at our Brajalalchak (Haldia) centre on 2^nd of April. One more step for us to make women financially independent, with that development.

Blood donation is considered as the gift of life as there is no substitute present for human blood. Regular blood donation is linked to lower blood pressure and a lower risk for heart attacks. It helps to reduce cardiovascular risk factors as well. Just like other years, we have been associated with many groups and arranged blood donation camps in many location throughout the year. Green is the colour which gives comfort to our eyes. However it’s not the colour green, it’s actually greenery which is much needed to save our mother Earth from running out of our lifeline – Oxygen. On the occasion of World Environment Day, we were present at Barsundara village of Bhabanipur, East Medinipur. We handed over different species of fruit saplings to more than hundreds of people with environmental awareness discussion. Through environmental discussions, cultural events and planting saplings we sworn in every day will be our environment day and we will make our world beautiful and green. Thanks to all the members of Barsundara Ganpati Sangha for making our message movement. Spontaneous love, enthusiasm of the villagers took the world's hope and dreams a step further in this environmental program.

We love to meet and greet people, especially during festival seasons. We, so called privileged people would like to dress up with bright and new clothes during this type of occasion. We believe that true happiness and motherly love lies in sharing joy with everyone. Like every year this year too we shared the joy of Sharidiya with many people who can not afford easily to new clothes  . We went to people's houses of Khanjanchak, Dihi Shivramnagar, Khejurtala of Chaitanyapur, Kadamtala adjacent to the township and handed them new clothes for Puja.. Thanks to all the members and well-wishers for their sincere support.
